Welcome to ArtyCanz
ArtyCanz is where the vibrant spirit of the African diaspora comes to life through visual arts. We aim to reflect the beauty and history of our people, incorporating African textiles into every piece. Dive into our world of color, texture, and culture.
Our Story:
ArtyCanz was born from a desire to blend the timeless elegance of African fabrics with the essence of people from the diaspora. From a young age, I Candice Bourne Enang, founder of ArtyCanz, felt inspired to use my artistic gifts to honor both my faith and my heritage. Each piece of art I create is a homage to the beauty, resilience, and royalty of the African story.
Philosophy:
Our philosophy is to use our God given gifts in a way that will honor and glorify our creator while we create. Without His inspiration and without His power our talent will amount to nothing.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to highlight people, scenes and ideas of the diaspora through visual arts and illustrations while integrating the exquisite beauty, design, and texture of African fabrics and other textiles into portraits and paintings.
The work of ArtyCanz is intended for everyone to enjoy while capturing the unmistakable royalty of the subjects.
Our Inspiration
Inspiration flows from a combination of our cultural legacy, the African diaspora’s global journey, and faith. Our Creator plays a significant role in guiding our hands as we craft each unique piece.
